Last night our new food4all team launched with great success, our team restocked after depleting food supplies a number of times.
Our standard teams also took to the streets to continue our efforts. Unfortunately our team was required to assist with a male assaulted with a sharp object, please be careful when out at night!

Leaving cert results night can see many young people entering the nightlife scene for the first time!
Our team took to the streets to spread awareness of drink spiking and how to protect yourself on a night out, the team handed out informational flyers and anti drink spiking covers.
This work is part of our drink spiking awareness initiative, never leave drinks unattended and if in doubt, throw it out!
Drink responsibly!

This evening, our team dropped down a few bags of well needed clothes to our colleagues at the Mustard Seed Soup Run.
We’re a firm believer that nothing, especially clothes, should go to waste so members of our team were kind enough to gather up clothes they might want to repurpose. ♻️

Drink spiking has become a concern for drinkers in the past few years, especially within inner city nightlife!
The effects of spiking can be long term and devastating, and it is important to be cautious and proactive in preventing spiking.
Drink covers are the most effective method of prevention, greatly lowering your chances of drink spiking, our team has disposable covers on hand at all times, and can provide these to the public upon request free of charge.
Our team will also be present at and around major events to spread awareness of drink spiking and provide covers to the event goers.

The cell AED is an automated External Defibrillator.
We carry this with us every night because it can be used if someone is experiencing a sudden cardiac arrest. It helps us analyze the patients heart rhythm if necessary our team can deliver an electric shock by using the AED to help the heart re-establish a more effective rhyth.
Dublin Community Support bought this type of Cell AED because of how easy it is to carry around while we are out on patrol.
The AED is a lifesaving piece of equipment, it is essential you understand how to use it. All of the members on our team know how to use one , as we never know when a cardiac arrest may happen!
Dublin Community Support set up the bike team so it can help us expand the city more while on patrol.
Our cycle team uses high end mountain bikes, equipped with fire extinguishers, comprehensive first aid kits, emergency blankets and our cell AED.
These bikes have been custom designed to be highly reflective and noticeable, while keeping our signature uniform navy colouring!
Each cyclist is provided extra training, both in 'Rules of the road' and 'Safe bicycle operation within a busy city's'.
Dublin Community support is here to help!
Dublin Community Support has been continuing operations within the city center at least twice a week in an attempt to tackle ongoing social issues.
Be sure to say hello to our team if you get the chance to meet them within the city!
Dublin Community Support visited Dublin Fire Brigade in Balbriggan to find out about their experiences with the area and how the social issues present effect their work.
DCS rely on information gathering to effectively begin operations within communities, Interactions we have with the emergency service are always productive for our team and allow us to plan to operate effectively to help communities faster.
Dublin Community Support visited Murphy's ice cream today while in the city center, the team were walking by when they noticed members of staff from Murphy's wondering who the team were.
The team is always excited to engage with the community so they went to introduce themselves where they made some friends and talked about the community and the issues within it.
The team also got some tasters of the wonderful products sold by Murphy's and I think it is safe to say, Dublin Community Support have a new cool off spot for the summer months ahead!
